One of the most powerful things you can do for someone who doesn’t know Jesus is to pray for them. Pray that God speaks to them and reveals Himself. He can!
When Samuel was sleeping, God called him, by name, 3 times. And I love this part of the story…
“Samuel did not yet know the Lord.” 1 Samuel 3: 7
God was speaking to Samuel before Samuel even knew God.
I need that reminder when I’m praying for people that I love that don’t yet know Jesus. Do you have them in your life as well? Pray for God to reveal Himself to them. Ask God to persistently pursue them and call them by name.
God can reach anyone. He can speak and reveal Himself in ways that are undeniable. Keep praying. God knows their name. -Sandi
