When you’re going through “gunk,” the last thing you may want to do is praise God. But why let the enemy steal your joy?
“…Though the olive crop fails, and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen…
yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”
Habakkuk 3:17-18
You may not get to choose your “gunk.” But you can choose your response. Who will win the battle for your joy and peace today?
Whatever struggle you’re facing, you can still choose to joyfully worship. He is still God, He is with you and He isn’t finished yet. So praise Him. For who He is. What He’s done. And what He will do because of His faithfulness.
You have reason to rejoice today. Don’t let the gunk win. Choose to trust in God. – Sandi
