What you “long for” says a lot about who you “live for.” That thought sounded kind of harsh when I heard it in a Bible study. But it was really good for my heart to consider. What are your deepest hopes and dreams for your life? For your family? For eternity?

I need the reminder. The world seems to have a lot to offer….success, fame, money, influence…. But the world has nothing of Kingdom or eternal value. It lures us in with feel good empty promises. The applause of man is loud. And temporary. Long for more. You were made for more. You were made to do the will of God. And you were made for eternity. – Sandi
