The Day Will Come When It All Makes Sense. And You Will Not Be Disappointed That You Trusted Jesus.

The Day Will Come When It All Makes Sense. And You Will Not Be Disappointed That You Trusted Jesus.

“Why should I still have hope?” I was asked that recently by someone who said she was afraid to hope because it always led to disappointment.  “I’ve prayed for something for over 13 years, and it hasn’t happened yet. Why should I still have hope?”

“Those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” Isaiah 49:23

I’ve been there too. Disappointed that God didn’t answer a prayer the way I thought He should. He doesn’t always work in the way or the timing that I want. So, what do we do with that?

What do you do when He says, “no?” Or when you feel like you’ve been waiting too long? What do you do with the very real disappointment you’re feeling?

You remember His heart. You remember that His plans may differ from yours, but His heart is kind. You remember that whether you can see or feel it, He is faithful.

The day will come when you see and understand fully.  And you will not be disappointed that you trusted Jesus. – Sandi
