There are some days when the weight just seems heavier. The dark seems like it’s not only darker…but it’s growing. I need the reminder that the dark never wins.
“ You are my lamp…the Lord turns my darkness into light.” 2 Samuel 22: 29
Some things seem to only grow in the dark. Discouragement. Depression. Doubt. They creep in when life gets scary and unpredictable. When the situation seems permanent. And it feels like there is no way out.
But there is One who can turn every dark situation into something beautiful. He proved it on the cross.
He is the Light. He is the hope that is secure when nothing else is. And He is with you in your darkest moments.
Let His Word shine truth for you today. May His presence bring you comfort. And may every difficult, dark thought you’re carrying turn into light because of the hope of Jesus. – Sandi
