Bless Someone Else Today Who Doesn’t “Deserve” It. Share The Same Grace That Has Changed Your Heart

I’m pretty good at justifying my own “snarky” attitude. Especially toward people who aren’t very nice.

“Ask God to bless everyone who mistreats you. Ask him to bless them and not to curse them.”
Romans 12:14

Ouch. Why would God say to bless someone who seemingly doesn’t deserve it?

  • Because Jesus’ love can soften a hardened heart.
  • To be a light in a world full of hopelessness.
  • And perhaps to remind our own hearts that we don’t deserve God’s blessings either.

When someone mistreats you, it hurts. Jesus knows and He cares. He also invites you to share the grace that you’ve been given. Also undeserved.
