It’s okay to be honest with God. To cry or shout it out…when you’re rejoicing and when you’re barely holding on.
“Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck….
I have come into the deep waters…
I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched.
My eyes fail looking for my God.” Psalm 69:1-3
God doesn’t turn a deaf ear when you’re honest with Him. He moves in close and cries with you.
If you have thoughts or feelings that have been bottled up way too long because you’re afraid to say some things out loud, may this passage serve as an invitation. An affirmation. That God already knows but still welcomes you and your pain.
Don’t let fear or the tears keep you from being honest with God. Let Him surprise you with grace and comfort today. – Sandi
