You probably don’t need this reminder: Life can be really difficult and frustrating. There is a very real enemy who tries to trip you up and bring you down. But here is the good news: you don’t have to face the battles of life unarmed and feeling defeated.
“Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the enemy’s schemes…..and stand firm.” Ephesians 6:11
Trying to navigate life, especially as a believer, without the armor of God means that we will trip and fall more than we stand.
But God doesn’t leave you defenseless. He doesn’t leave you at all! He is with you, and He provides both offensive and defensive armor so that you can stand strong in the fight:
Weapons like salvation, His Word, prayer, faith….they’re all found in Ephesians 6. If you’re feeling defeated or discouraged today, put on the armor that God readily makes available to you. Then stand. Stand strong, battle ready, and know that God is with you. – Sandi
