The next time you’re over to my house, you’ll notice this verse on our fireplace mantel:
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24: 15
I love this verse. It is simple. But it isn’t.
It is simple to “say” we love God. But as you know, it isn’t always easy to put Him first.
I can relate to the people that Joshua was challenging. They said they loved God, but they weren’t always faithful.
One of the reasons we have this verse in the center of our home is because we need to be reminded, often, of our commitment to serve Him.
Maybe this is a reminder for your heart today as well. God is faithful and you can trust Him…with your life and with your family. We will serve the Lord. – Sandi
