Does God hear you when you pray? Does He hear you when you pray from a place of disobedience?
“In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me.
From the depths of the grave I called for help and you listened to my cry.”
Jonah 2:1-2
That was Jonah. God said, “Go.” Jonah said, “No.”
Jonah ran from God and was swallowed by a big fish. In his disobedience, in the belly of a fish, he cried out to God. God heard and answered Jonah’s prayer.
God hears every prayer. When you’re on your knees. When you’re exhausted. Even when you’re running away from God.
God listens. God rescues. And He will do the same for you. If you’re hurting, frustrated, close to God, far from God, call out to Him. He is faithful to listen and to respond. – Sandi
