I’m learning that everything I think or feel… isn’t always truthful or helpful. Emotions and thoughts can be very convincing. But, at times, they aren’t rooted in Truth. If life feels out of control, take a deep breath and let this truth sink in:
“He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17
Before you took your first breath, God was. Every moment of your life, God has been. And today, He still is.
He holds everything together. Nothing catches Him off guard. He is still on His throne of authority and power. So, when things start to spin out of control in your mind, remember the truth of who God is. Your life isn’t out of His control. It may be out of YOUR control. But not His.
He is God. And He is still holding everything together, including you. – Sandi
