Whose hand do you love to hold? Your spouse? Your child? A friend when they’re in the hospital? Holding hands is an act of care and trust, reserved for close relationships.
“I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13
Do you hear His heart? When you’re afraid, He isn’t distant. He’s close enough in proximity and relationship to hold your hand.
The God of heaven takes you by the hand and says that He will help you. So, you don’t have to be afraid.
If you are wrestling with anxious thoughts or worry, take a deep breath and picture God holding your hand. Your Father. The King. He is with you today. And that changes everything. You have nothing to fear. Just keep holding His hand. – Sandi
