What does success look like to you? That’s a difficult question because there are all kinds of different standards. And opinions. I think we all desire to be successful. And that can be a good, God–honoring thing.
“He trusted the Lord…He held fast to the Lord, followed Him, and kept His commands.
And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook.”
2 Kings 18:5-7
What if you’re actually successful before others see your success? When you’re faithfully seeking God and following His lead, “success” is the blessing from God.
I don’t know if God will always bring “success” in the ways the world appreciates, but I do know that He sees, He honors, and He blesses faithfulness.
The Lord is with you. He has plans for you. When you know Him and walk with Him, there’s no greater measure of success. May we not chase after any lesser thing. – Sandi
