I remember playing “hide and seek” with my kids when they were little. They would cover their eyes and think that I couldn’t see them.
I wonder if we do that with God as well. We question whether He sees us, because we can’t see Him.
Here’s some good news. He sees you. And He’s not playing hide and seek with your heart.
“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer.” 1 Peter 3:12
When you whisper or cry or don’t even have the words to pray, God hears you. He never takes His eyes off of you. And when your heart hurts, He cries with you.
God loves you, not because you’re perfect, but because you’re His child. He’s leaning in to hear what you have to say. You can be honest with Him knowing that His heart is kind and He is forever and only faithful. You can trust Him with your prayers. He’s listening. – Sandi
