It was a root issue for me when I entered counseling several years ago. Deep down, I felt unlovable. Do you ever get there? Your head knows that you are loved… by God and the people closest to you. And yet there is this inner gnawing that tries to convince you that you’re simply unloved and unlovable.
“I am convinced that neither death, nor life, the present, the future,
nor any powers nor anything else in all creation will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 8:38-39
When the father of lies tries to convince you otherwise, hold on to the truth: Nothing can get in between you and God’s love for you.
Sometimes our emotions and the enemy need a reminder. God’s love is steadfast. Unchanging, whether you feel it or not.
The next time the enemy starts to whisper in your ear, think of the cross. Think of this verse. And find peace in knowing the faithful, consistent love of God. For you. – Sandi
