Why did God create music? You are one of the reasons why. Because He sings over you.
“The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
The truths tucked in this verse are mind-blowing to me. God chooses to be with you. He chose to save you. Your life brings Him joy and delight. He quiets you when you’re unsettled. And like every tender-hearted Father, He sings over you.
I can’t wait to hear that song in heaven. We will be worshipping Him. And He will continue to sing over us.
