I’m kind of fascinated with the word, “hope.” I think it has such a deeper meaning than the casual cross your fingers and “hope so.”
“He has given us…a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:3.
I don’t know what you’re hoping for, but I do know who you can place your hope in. The One who walked out of His grave, alive, for you. When you place your trust and future in Him, you have a living hope. A confidence that a risen King is working all things out.
Jesus changes the definition of hope.
If you are weary of chasing outcomes, fix your attention on Jesus. Remember who He is. What He’s done. Remember that He’s alive and you can trust Him! Jesus is your living hope. – Sandi
